Those two incidents are very different. You’re comparing apples and oranges
ISU basketball is not a Tony Robbins seminar.
If his history is important and he cannot live up to expectations then he should not have played one minute this season. Now an important part of the team is gone in crunch time. Just brilliant management by Prohm here.

Daaaaamn.... hope this isn’t the last straw. But wouldn’t surprise me.
If he did something that warranted not making the trip (he did), with his past history, that's good enough for me. I don't make the decisions but unless Prohm was completely unfair for leaving him in Ames, then he should be gone...per me.A then us wanting to reserve judgement until the facts are know get bashed.

Not at all, both players "didn't make a trip". We've heard nothing about a suspension yet. Not traveling with the team doesn't necessarily mean he's suspended. He may very well be but typically, those types of things are announced to the public. We probably won't know until Prohm's press conference what his status is today.
Nah if a member of a team continues breaking the same rules, at some point it's best for the team and possibly the individual if the coach cuts ties. I want Lard to be successful at Iowa State but not at the expense of the team.
Yes, the head coach that is being paid millions of dollars a year to coach this team is responsible for the results. I know this is a foreign concept to many.

My point is him not making the trip could be for something very minor, like being late to practice. Fact is I don't know what he did to warrant it and I'm not making a judgement until I know what he did.
But per Tommy Birch and Matt Schultz he's still on the team.
Cancerous cells are removed for a reason.
Can’t believe Prohm made him make a mistake knowing how short his leash was. Can’t believe Prohm made him walk out after being asked to run after being late to practice.
I’m sure you’re the one that blames the teachers for your child’s shortcoming and mistakes.
It's March. If Lard was ever this big of a problem, then he should have never been on this team or played one second. Now ISU has to scramble with no time left to change things up at all. Conditt could have been playing this entire season and maybe have stood a chance.
But I know poor Steve should shoulder no responsibility whatsoever. If Mayor would have left him some players things might be different.
