I also have read/heard from KSU fans that THT was "shooting out of his mind" vs the Wildcats and this was quite "surprising" because he has clearly been struggling. I do agree to an extent that he has struggled in some games - but often that has been due to shot selection. It would be interesting to look at his 3pt attempts. I swear that the reason he has a poorer 3pt percentage is due to the high number of fade-away shots he has attempted. The level of difficulty for those shots is much higher than shooting a wide open 3ptr from 3 feet beyond the arc. Other than the step back 3 over Wade, he generally had open looks on Saturday. Plus, he is the highest scoring Frosh in the league and he has had a number of MONSTER games for us this year - so another big game for THT was not out of the question.

However, to quiet the critics, it'd be nice if THT and LW can continue their production on a consistent basis going forward!

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I really don't give a **** about the Lard technical. If there ever was a time and situation to do it, up 14 with little time left was it. I think I saw McGurl earlier in the game running his mouth.

Plus, there may have been some trash talking going on that we aren't in on, as well....Lard may have just gotten fed up with it, and was saying "F*** you! In your face!"

If by open, you mean no one guarding him closely at 28', he was open lol. Guy has range and confidence!

Huge win and great game by the guys. They are still having an issue letting guards drive to the basket but hopefully they will keep working on that. Now they just have to stay focused and keep that same energy for the remaining games.

In the Des Moines Register. A whole page (2 days after the game) devoted to that huge win over national juggernaut Rutgers.
And on WHO...They've been crazy stupid over that last second shot (admittedly, it WAS a pretty amazing shot) while forgetting that Iowa nearly lost to Rutgers. RUTGERS...

As fans of another school who regularly visit here, only surly and our friend from Toledo come to mind as being worth having around. All the random rest of them can pound sand.

I did. Don't let the fact that I couldn't come up with your username on the spot bother you. Fans of other schools should follow your example here: provide good content, don't try to troll, enjoy yourself.
