Hope we don't start chucking three's bc we were unconscious against KSU. Worried we'll regress to the mean on those three's.

Well, we only shot 18 threes against them last time.

Going to be an odd rematch, as their whole offense (and our whole defense) was built around Clark. He's the reason that Mason got it going so well, as we were doubling off the perimeter to help stop Clark, and he was making the right pass out time after time.

We need to control the pace of play. If we can get a lead it will put pressure on Baylor to try and score at a rate they are not comfortable doing.

1 out of the last how many? They beat us 5-6 in a row at one point.

Beat them in 2017 in Ames. Almost beat them that year in Waco when BU was ranked #2.

They did beat ISU a few times in a row dating back to 14/15, were basically just ISU's kryptonite with their style and line up.

zone has messed us up at times this year, but we're working against it now, not as big of an advantage for a team. I think we take this one by 5

Prohm adjusted after the first match up with BU zone buy running the offense through THT at the FT line vs Old Miss and their zone. It has been the counter ever since and effective (once the team realize the opponent switched). KSU tried it yesterday for a short bit, and Prohm went back to it first with THT then after his 3rd foul Shayok took that positioning. Losing Lard with the ankle injury hurt against BU length and ISU lost a nice lead right after, having CAM back will factor too.

I think well see better results Tuesday than we did in our first meeting. Still need to make the open shots but I feel they will be there to take and feel good about ISU's chances to pick up another W.

Or we have 5 guys that can't make a thing on any given day. No one has shown the consistency that a lot of the great shooters of the past have. Wigginton might be that guy, maybe Shayok, but there have been way too many losses this year where ISU is hovering around 25% from 3.

We have 2 players shooting over 40% (NWB, TH), 2 players around 40% (MS: 38.5 & LW: 39.70, and THT: 36%. MJ is the only one not even close to 40% at 11.8. (Lard has taken 0 3's.)

So, yes there will be games when the 3 isn't consistently falling for the team, just as what happens to any team at the college or NBA level. However, we have 4 players shooting above or near 40%, with THT shooting a good enough % to keep defenders honest. Consistency is doing something over a long period of time, including occasion dips. The stats show we have enough 3-pt shooters on the team.

THT has really stepped up the last couple games. LW has shot much better lately too. Still need to be working for good, open shots, and avoid the last second desperation shots, that seem to go in against ISU way better than the do for them.
