Maybe it was his one turnover? I think Tinsley averaged like 4 TOs/game so CF would have been outraged back then.

The game where Fizer facialed Mims I think ISU had a bad first half so this site would have been after a lot of players then too.

Down 26-11 before people even got seated

He did. But he should have taken fizer and tinsley out for sure. Then nurse and Horton Stevie next.

Brandon Hawkins would have beat them 1 on 5.

Yeah Fizer should have never even had the opportunity to throw it down on Mims.

Sounds about right. Other than the scrub games where he regularly racked up 25+, that was one of the few games I can remember being there in person when he really owned the other team. I think I had just gotten my license...

That game was the start of a real tear for Fizer. From there through KC he just dominated.

BTW, I enjoy Twitter during games. Sure people can get upset and tweet things they probably shouldn't, but it's not like I wasn't thinking about the possibility of sitting Shayock. I just didn't tweet it. He was really struggling.

Had a lady behind us, about midway through the first half, who started yelling, "Put Jacobson back in there!" Then right after halftime, it was, "Put Haliburton back in there!" Finally, during the last media timeout, it became, "Put Tucker back in there!"

Instant gratification is a *****.

I agree. A guy with his shooting averages you stick with.

Particularly if he’s playing well in other aspects of the game and taking good looks.

That said, we’ve got a lot of talent on this roster. It’s been thought that one of the biggest strengths of this team is that someone will be “on”, and finding the hot hand can mean going away from even a guy like Shayok.

Yeah, if he's struggling but still taking good shots within the flow of the offense then I'm cool with him staying on the floor and working through it. It paid off big on Saturday.
