Twitter was full of fans begging Steve Prohm to bench the Virginia transplant. I'll admit I'm old and out of date, But I just cannot imagine a generation so full of themselves that they would go to Twitter during the game, and tell the coach how to manage the team . As if he is checking twitter during timeouts to see what he is doing wrong.

I think we are getting to point where most sane and normal people are ignoring the twitter outrage mob for what it is....Twitter, empowering liars since 2005 (or whenever).
Shayok can shoot all he wants.

I would say that was anything but growth...more like survival. Thrilled we got the W but that was too close than necessary on our home turf. Already behind us though, time to move on.
It’s the big 12, you’re going to have to grind out games to win when you’re not playing your best. They didn’t do that against K-State but they did yesterday. If that isn’t growth what is?

I can’t imagine acting like an unstable 12 year old during every game thread, and then posting like it never happened, but we have a bunch who do.

Instant gratification.

There are people who think this is how everyone operates, just like there are people who think life on Facebook is reality.

True but if anyone thinks the game thread on here was any better, they are ******* clueless.

For sure.

Somebody said something similar after the Texas Tech game. "We didn't close out the game, we just got lucky"

We suck at enjoying wins.

Has to be some of the same people.

Wonder if they're at the game yelling the same stuff at the coaches/players.

Bet the players love it when someone yells 'make the shot!'.

Probably some of them ;)

I didn't realize that some of them were actually tweeting at Prohm, but I should have.

To be honest, I didn't really understand why anyone thought Shack should be benched. He wasn't taking bad shots and it is not like anyone else was hitting much. It just felt like he'd eventually hit the shots.

I agree. A guy with his shooting averages you stick with.

Maybe it was his one turnover? I think Tinsley averaged like 4 TOs/game so CF would have been outraged back then.

The game where Fizer facialed Mims I think ISU had a bad first half so this site would have been after a lot of players then too.
