That sucks for them. Basically they'll be in Ames for what, 9 hours?

I would think 9 would work out fine with a 5pm tip off. Not a huge deviation from a normal road game I would thing. Southwest flight ran off the runway in Omaha, best not to mess with ice.

Hope they don't get delayed further. Roads may still be a little dicey in the morning.

Fighting every fiber of my being not to make a Steve Leath joke here.

But seriously, I wouldn't think this should be a big deal. Still plenty of time to shoot around and prepare, and Stillwater > Ames can't be considered a long enough flight to affect an athlete, like a coast-to-coast flight might.

Okie State is making the right call in terms of safety.

My worry is that, as a result of all the disruption, some non-descript sub will come off the bench and unconsciously hit 15 threes...

Even if they fly into DSM instead of Ames, they'll still be in Ames by 11. Plenty of time for a walkthrough/shootaround (just not at Hilton) and meal.

If it is cancelled maybe schedule Wartburg. Probably wouldnt even need to play the starters more than a few minutes. I mean Wartburg is non scholarship so easy win right...

One of our B12 championship teams needing OT to beat Morningside...that was etched in my mind.
