The analytics show that you’re better off not taking the TO. Same reason Prohm would take TOs after made baskets. Analytics show those are good times to take TOs. I think Prohm has reasons for why he does these things that aren’t necessarily viewed as good coaching.

That being said, he seems to have the science of the game down, but not the art or the feel of it. That was a pathetic end to the game and I agree he should’ve taken the time out.

Good perspective here. Appreciate your view.

We just got beat by Baylor and Kansas state at home with 4 guys who are supposed to be in the nba in the next few years. What do u think the issue is if it’s not coaching?
People who actually think those players will be in the NBA in the next few years.

Your argument is pathetic and one that you constantly use. Making the Sweet Sixteen with one of the best teams in Iowa State history is not something to brag about.

"one I constantly use"....huh, if you say so. But that's my take, call if pathetic if you want. Wasn't really an argument, by the way. More of a question for clarification.

Well, on to the next. Beating Tech on the road would make up for this one. I think we will keep it close with our improved defense and hopefully can steal one like KSU did against us.

Hopefully Tugce is working the deli at the grocery store. I need somebody to brighten my day.

Yes. It's the same **** every time someone criticizes the guy. You're shortly there with your "two sweet 16" lines, defending his honor.

I’m somebody that was annoyed at how pissed people were after the Baylor game. This game... be as pissed as you want, total joke in every phase.

Another benefit of this game thread is that it caused me to finally put @jereseib on ignore. Whew, the loss is already easier to process!

Despite the fact we sucked at times today, I'm pretty confident we're still going to the NCAA tourney as top 5 in the league. We have things to figure out, to be sure, but the only thing stopping us from going on a big run is ourselves. I don't blame anyone for being more negative, but I would say it's bolder still to pidgeon-hole us as an NIT-only team instead.

I don’t know how anyone can watch the end of that game and blame it on Prohm. Missed FTs, missed open shots to clinch the game, bad drive defense. What did you want Prohm to do??
I don't know, maybe not throw Conditt on the bench with 3 mins to go when he was playing great? Maybe not have his team look lost in the first half on both sides of the ball? Maybe install something resembling a half court offense, which is something he's failed to do in the the 4 years he's been here?
