I had no problem with rushing the field- but - should this be the last one? Should we start expecting wins like this - or at least not be surprised when they happen? We stopped rushing the floor at Hilton - is it time for the same at Jack Trice?

Rush the field, the court, the mat; it's what we do. Some schools jump around, some do a tomahawk chop, some sing meaningless words, we rush the field. Just be careful when rushing the pool after a swim meet.

One thing I thought was kinda funny...when they showed highlights of other games around the country, they showed Nebraska losing in OT. There was hardly any reaction. Nobody even cared. We've come along way!!!

I think the biggest testament to the atmosphere was the fact my kids were interested in the game the entire time. These are kids that literally cannot stay focused on anything beyond 20 minutes, and they watched 3 and a half hours worth of football.

I've been to more games than I can remember, but have to say this was the best atmosphere ever for a game.
Agree. ANd it might just be that more of us are expecting--not just hoping for--wins like this. The teams from 1976-1978 were really good (by ISU standards), but the atmosphere in the stadium is SO MUCH BETTER NOW.

It was nice to see the SEZ crowd fill in quickly after halftime...our group of 4 is normally the only ones in their seats at the start of the 3rd quarter. On the bad side, there were several face plants of the more mature folks trying to jump onto the field after navigating the 8 foot wall in the SEZ...ouch.
