I know this was a sore subject in the past. I'm sorry if this is known, but I was curious if an official ticket number was ever made public yet.

1) can't you just wait until they put the thermometer up?
2) do you want total season ticket number with or without student tickets?

fwiw JP has said that if you count the Applebee's 3 game pack that we sold more than last year. I understand the Applebees pack are not season tickets but it signals we are not really that far off from last year in regards to fans wanting to come out to the games.

I heard him say that it was down from last year but this year was the second best season ticket sales. Did anyone else hear that? I don't know if that included the Applebee's Packs

He said that it doesn't include the applebee's pack jtd. We sold less than last year but still 2nd or 3rd highest we've ever sold.

We sold 36,000+ last year, new record.

JP was interviewed before the SDSU game and said that this year was the second highest ever. Plus, if you add the 3,500 mini-packs (which are not included in the season ticket #), the total of season tickets and mini-packs exceeded last year. Deductive reasoning puts season ticket sales at 33,000+/-, down about 10%, which is not surprising given the economy.

Good job by Cyclone fans for stepping up again this year buying tickets. The improved tailgating atmosphere does a lot for selling tickets.
