Was I just imaging all the articles and posts about next years team with all the incoming talent mixed with this year's returners?

I'll admit that I and all of cyclone nation are completely jacked for football season due to all signs pointing toward even more success. Last year was one of the best in program history and optimistically speaking, we think we can eclipse new heights of double digit wins and fighting for a conference title.

No, we are not Nebraska. Ask any causal fan and they are excited for both upcoming basketball and football seasons.

I don't think the first bad season out of the last seven qualifies us as suddenly being "Nebrasketball." Football is on the rise and hoops will rise again.

We are Iowa State.

This is why I posted this thread. March 10, lots of teams are still playing basketball, and the front page is FIVE FOOTBALL ARTICLES.

For years, I used to make fun of Nebraska for football-heavy coverage in the Omaha World Herald when the basketball season was still strong.

Basketball season is over for us. Not much more to talk about.

You should quit while you're behind.
