I was at daughter's softball tournament all day, didn't get to watch the game. Just watched a highlight of Baker Mayfield's scramble to the right for a touchdown. Question: how was that not a block in the back on the wide receiver?
when was it in the game? I have the second half dvr'd if it's in the second half.
My brother is Kyle Alan, and I'm Joel. No Davids in the family, but our next-door neighbor friend was David. Did our parents see this coming 30+ years ago?

According to ESPN Stats & Information, (prior to today) AP top-three teams had been 207-0 since 2004 in games in which they led by at least 14 points at home.

I'm still amazed that we won that game. I will eat as much crow as humanly possible. I thought there was no way we could win this game, and was not feeling very well about where we were prior to this game. I was definitely wrong, and boy am I glad I was.
This is what happens when you get your best players involved. Montgomery is a legit NFL player, and we need to continue to find ways to get him the ball throughout the game.
As for Lanning, what else can you say about the guy? What a Cyclone! Couldn't be any happier than I am still, 8 hours after the game is over. Plus wearing all my Cyclone gear in Iowa City is pretty fun today!
