That's him. Was the #1 ranked 184 for most of the year last year at Iowa Central. Finished 8th at nationals.

Surprised va tech transfer Degen hasn't come up. Will add major competition at 149/157. Very tall. Maybe he will be ISU's version of St. John. We could hope for similar results.

Degen is very tall. Hopefully he can add on some weight and challenge at 157

His dad is the head coach at Davenport Assumption. They've produced some good kids over the years, would be good to have a good relationship with them.

Not likely as he walks around 155-158. He will be 149 unless he gets beat out and wants to challenge at 157. Straw is one of the tougher kids in the room. May not be the most gifted but will go hard. Really think he could make a big jump in results this season.
