We had a 6'8", 6'9", and 6'10" ride the pine the entire season because they weren't good enough. It is much more important to get guys who can play, than to just look at height.
This guy is the 3rd best player on a horrendous team (8-24). Surely there is better options out there

We need a 4/5 that can put a layup in when Monte passes him the ball, in that regard this guy is more than serviceable. The days of getting a worldbeater through the transfer market are over for ISU.

Ok - so your argument is that he is not good enough. Can't argue with that, because I don't know. It is just different than your original beef.

I love how so many people on here don't trust our staff lol. If our staff wants him I'm fine with it.

Too be fair, our staff signed Ernst and Carter so it isn't like our staff wanting them means they are sure fire Big 12 players, might just mean it is the best they can do.

He was their second best player behind Johnson. Mussini is awful. I'm guessing the staff is just keeping their options open but his athleticism intrigues me. Livingston is my top want but Davis, Jones and Dembele would all fill the need and I don't really have a preference which one it is if it's not Livingston.

Didn't we sign both of them after Prohm got hired? Needed practice bodies.

Do you struggle with everyday logic? Do you not understand that every freshman doesn't contribute right away, especially big men?

Your thought process is embarassing.

Does anyone know of a player/player(s) leaving the program that I have missed making room for scholarships? I know of Lard's situation.

He's taller than everyone else we're bringing in so you're saying a 6'7 player can be a bigger impact for us than a 6'8 guy?
There's a huge difference from a grad transfer big and a sophomore big who barely played in the non con last year.

We just need a grad transfer or JUCO big for next season. I don't care if he's 6'7 or 6'9, we just need the best available.
