Rob Halford, Ronnie James Dio, Bruce Dickinson, Brad Delp, Roger Daltrey, Paul Rogers are all top 10 material.

IMO #1 is Steve Perry. Check out a song called "Sweet and Simple." That guy was/is just incredible.

Difficult to narrow this list down, but some must-includes:

  1. Jordon Knight - Hangin' Tough - 'nuff said
  2. Leif Garrett - "I Was Made For Dancin'"
  3. Fab Morvan - One-half of great 80s duo
  4. Rob Pilatus - 80s duo extrodinaire
  5. David Cassidy - Partridge Family should be enough for his inclusion
  6. William Shatner - His version of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" will make you love music again
  7. Carl Lewis - Francis Scott Key must have had Carl in mind when he penned "The Star Spangled Banner"

Great point. Shatner's "Rocket Man" is his "Stairway to Heaven." I just have a soft spot for his version of "LSD"

What frightens me most is that the Beatles' version was playing on my iTunes at the EXACT second I read that. Uncanny.

Why would you listen to the second-rate version by the Beatles when Shatner's styling is available?

Which one of the two is passed away?

She used to be with Ryan Adam's first band Whiskeytown and now does solo stuff. She is amazing.

Also Gary Louris and basically everyone ever associated with the Jayhawks.

Once again, impeccable calls. I think you have to count Gary Louris and Mark Olson as one entry, as so much of the Jayhawks classic stuff was total harmony, although Louris sounds great on Rainy Day...

I'm partial to Stranger's Almanac

Yeah, I know that album is more widely known as Whiskeytown's "gold standard", but for me, I prefer pop over country, and Pneumonia has the poppier elements as compared to the more countrified Stranger's Almanac. I have them both, though.
