Rain on your college-*** disco dorm
For you to even touch my skill
You gotta put the one killer bee and he ain't gonna kill
Now chop that down, pass it all around
Lyrics get hard quick like cement to the ground
For any emcee in any fifty two states
I get psycho, killllller, Norman Bates
My producer slam my flow is like bam
Jump on stage an then I dip down

Not exactly sure.
I fully understand. My mp3 collection is mostly 90s aternative and hip-hop.

I lived through the 3 periods of bon jovi. Went to new Jersey concert, got shirt. Threw shirt away because you were considered.......feminine....if you liked them. Then watched them come back and had kids ask if I still had that shirt.

I don't think it was that well known of a song.

The contributing group was Leaders of the New School, which would be hard to remember for anyone not named me or carvers4math.
Hey, I posted it so I knew it as well! I'll have to say I saw them when they first performed it live (I think it might have been the MTV music awards) and I though Busta Rhymes totally stole the show. Coming in with powerful impact from the cannon and the line about the dungeon dragon was pure genius.

Yes, GTO would also know it.

Once I saw that I knew Busta was a star. Leaders was a good group, but Busta was just so much bigger than them.

Excellent!

I prefer this video for the song though:

Rep! Nicely done! I also saw these guys live and even had a drink with Rob Base (after a friend of mine almost got taken down by security, but that's a story for another time).

This certainly reminds me of the best flow chart ever.

I think he used the dungeon dragon verse again on one of his own albums. The song is escaping me at the moment though.

Lord I've really been real stressed
Down and out, losing ground
Although I am Black and proud
Problems got me pessimistic
Brothers and sisters keep messin up
Why does it have to be so damn tough

I thought it was really well known. But maybe it's just my age group. Tribe Called Quest came after De La Soul, which was more my style. I grew up when it just started getting played on urban stations, like KT16 in the Quad-Cities. I really miss the seriously old school stuff like Grandmaster Flash, Whodini, UTFO, Boogie Boys, Run DMC, Public Enemy, Kool Moe Dee, Kurtis Blow, Def Jef, Slick Rick, EPMD, etc. Once you move into the 90s, I'm going to start missing more of these answers than hitting them.

Not exactly sure.
Who sang this and the title. Knew someone who played this at isu nonstop. I never have known or heard it again.

Main part goes.

Everywhere I go I find a girl who'll please me
East and west college girls are easy.

Tennessee, Arrested Development. Better song than Mr. Wendel.

I hear you. Tribe Called Quest has always been my jam, but I didn't think Scenario was that well known in the mainstream.

Take me to another place.
Take me to another land.
Let me forget all that hurts me.
Help me understand Your plan.

That would be Arrested Development - Tennessee!

My turn:

No rapper can rap quite like I can
I'll take a muscle-bound man and put his face in the sand
Not the last mafioso I'm the emcee cop
Make you say "Go **!" and do the wop!

(**'s to prevent easy answers.)

Really? That ones more recent and was a really popular song for a while. I'll let someone else take it though. Because of the implications.

Eh, I've heard it at JTS, not sure if in the stadium or the tailgate lots, although it came out after my oldest went to college and he's the one most into hip hop. Thought it would be getting kinda low on my part to take it though.
