A few things I would like to say about this series:

1. My ban was bull sh it. My ban comment said something like this, "We know this series means a lot to you, but you need to post in the Cardinals board only as we told you." Between the time I spend at work, my martial arts/kickboxing training, and my free pleasure time, I don't have enough time to read EVERY comment, so when you want to address me, send me a message to my page. And I don't know if this counts as a 'Cardinals thread/board', but I really don't care.
2. I don't come on here for my benefit nor do I have to, I have a family to put food on the table for. I come here to educate fans about sports and other life lessons. If you want to continue to ban me, then that's your loss I guess. I have enough opportunities outside of here to help others in the community. I don't think I have been receiving enough credit lately. Again, if you ban me again, it's your loss, not mine.
3. Game 1 was a St. Louis Cardinal domination. Jaime choked in game 2. That error set the tone for the entire game. The young Cub roster became relaxed for the first time and the game was pretty much over from there. Now Airietta is due for a not so great game. Game 3 coming up. Cardinals win in 4.

I really wonder what goes on inside your tiny little brain of yours at times.

The Cards are starting to show the effects of the injury bug. Not having Waino and Martinez in the rotation, plus Lynn being hurt most of the 2nd half of the season has lead Matheny to throw Lackey out there on 3 days rest. I know the guy is a bulldog, but even if he is able to pull it off - not sure what you do with game 5. Obviously he doesn't think Lynn is healthy enough to throw him out there.

Oh well it has been a great season to over-come what they have. It will be fun to see the Arms of the Mets vs the youth of the cubs. Hopefully the Redbirds can get healthy in the offseason, resign Hayward and get back to the postseason healthy.





PS - If I admit defeat now, I will be super jacked if the birds pull off a miracle this week.

Doesn't look like it's going to be the Cardinals year after last night. I think Lackey can pull off the win this afternoon and send it back to St Louis but I don't know that'd I'd trust giving the ball to Lynn or Garcia in an elimination game. Wainwright and Martinez being hurt screws the red birds this time around.
