Do You Work Thursday and Friday?

Wondering what others do for these days? I have had the fortune if having great managers who don't care what I do with my days off and know why I take these 2 days off.

Got vacation approved for all day Thursday, work Friday.

I earned 28.5 hours of travel comp time last week for my work trip to Arizona last week (16 of which came after I missed my flight due to insanely long lines at the Phoenix airport on Saturday, forcing me to watch the ISU-KU game on my phone and resulting in me not getting home until 3 a.m.). 12 of those earned hours are going to a half day on Thursday and all day Friday.

Normally I would take both days but I just recently started a new job. Plus side is that I do have fri-sat off.

Same here. I don't even have to ask for the days anymore. My boss, and my employees, just know. In my opinion, there isn't a better 4 days in sports. When Iowa State is involved, it's just that much sweeter for me.

travel comp time? I travel every week for work and have never heard of this... I would have accrued at least a year off at this point....

Was gonna take both off, but ended up taking just Friday off. Told the boss I would be out of office from 11:30-2ish on Thursday

Got Friday off and was going to take a half day on Thursday but boss up and left for Vegas. Now have to stay all day Thursday.... never again.

Have not worked those days in a few years. Sometimes there are things I can't avoid and need to address some items or be on meetings remotely, but it is always very light and know that I am generally OOO.

This year I am flying home during our game, so will rush my *** home to fire up the DVR. Rest of Thursday/Friday I am off.
