I'll start:

March 2013 - vasectomy

August 2014 - vasectomy reversal

Oops. Anyone else make a big decision in life that was regrettable in retrospect?

What events lead to such a quick turn around?

putting "girl" in my screen name here. :jimlad:

nice coincidence this being today's post. There was a big oops yesterday, not mine, but I was just thinking how I would hope to never have that kind of oops but understand how it could happen.

Are you "vague-booking" here? CF or work oops?

I am curious as to why the reversal, and did it work?

Note: I am not interested in the reversal... just curious.

In college I worked part time at a daycare. One of the kids there I knew was a big Iowa State fan who always went to games with her parents. On the Monday after the 2007 Iowa/Iowa State game I asked her if she had gone to the game. She replied by saying "I saw you there. You stopped and played catch with me and my dad for like 20 minutes." Needless to say, I was good and drunk and had absolutely no recollection of having seen her, let alone playing catch with her for 20 minutes. That made for an interesting explanation to a 3rd grader why I had no memory of having spent 20 minutes with her.

sort of because it's not really my thing to talk about. It would have been a work thing. So I was just feeling bad for those involved and wondering how I would handle a "big oops" like that.

Probably when I missed the Iowa State-Texas basketball game in 2005. It was the only B12 home game I missed that year.

I've led a pretty simple life.
