I was just kidding. I've spent a fair amount of time in and around Gull Lake; that whole area is very nice.

Exclusive just implies some sort of standards you have to be judged to meet, not just that you have to be able to afford it. A private club is exclusive; 5th avenue NYC is just expensive. Again, just kidding at the word choice.

just kidding. it's so funny because it's a bunch of rural folks and wealthy city people. interesting mix. we've been going there every year for 30 years.

You'll think I'm lying but my parents have a place on Lower Whitefish lake in Crosslake MN so I am very familiar with the area. It is the highest-priced and most exclusive lake area in MN outside of Minnetonka (which isn't cabins anyway). Property records in Crow Wing Country are public record and I know the planner for Crow Wing County. His cabin is in Crosslake and it's not hard to know where if you look. Anyone on here who knows me knows I can 100% verify all of this. I am not going to say the exact location of his cabin although it's very close to Tom Cruises' place! :)

And then, the thread took a surprising, stalkerish, turn.

I would die carrying that chariot if it helped.

Haha...CFH just starts big timing everyone...and demands chariot rides into Hilton.

Welp.....wheres my giant feather to use as a fan to keep him cooled off? Somebody get the grapes.

I'm on Daggett on the chain as well. :)

Also you just opened up a world of stalkers on here by saying the town. I've kept that hidden this entire time.

Small world. My parents bought some empty lots on Daggit in 2008 and now are stuck with them for the foreseeable future. Are you up there around the 4th?

The town has 25,000 people in the summer - most people with any knowledge of MN could have probably figured it out eventually!

All part of his plan...now that the 'undisclosed location' has been disclosed, Fred will have to sell and buy something in Iowa, removing the 'he has a house up here' argument.

I spend most of the summer weekends up there.

What part of the lake are the lots on?

Found it interesting that some Jazz fans here really like Hoiberg for their opening, no idea if they'd contact him or not. Just shows the reach he's generating for the program.

Guys- didnt see this posted anywhere - but thought i would post it anyways.....a quote from Flip Saunders on Coach Hoiberg:

"That's not happening," Saunders told local reporters Monday when referring to the Wolves' ability to land Hoiberg.

For all those concerned - i think this puts that to rest unless something incredible changes. Also, not knowing him personally but, what i would see him like. He's young enough, that he could stay at ISU while his kids are young, have a great career and only deal with 30-34 games a year. After the kids are older and out of the house, he could still jump to the long 82 game season which requires a lot of road trips some being extended if he's continued his success which seems likely at this point.

Either way, i truly have become a 100% believer that if he stays an extended period of time, that there is a "chance" at a national title.....I have not felt that way since Kelvin Cato was around campus....
