Wow. Fred is a "Titan" already after year 4? That's pretty sweet

In two separate articles today I've seen Fred referred to as a 'titan' and 'elite'. Wow. I know this is obvious, but we really have something special with Fred. And kudos to Pollard for stepping up on the financial end.

Sorry I haven't been on here in a few hours, has there been one positive about the Minnesota job established other than Fred used to work there?

I just want to know where all of you found out that Hoiberg Loves Minneapolis. Did he come out and say that or are you jut basing it on the fact that he has played there and worked there and has a lake house (which a lot of people do). Do you know him personally? If not I would say you are just guessing....

Ok.

Here are my rankings for teams that FH is most likely to jump to:

1. TWolves. (Obviously. He worked there for awhile)
2. Bulls. This is a team Fred Hoiberg played on. Probably tons of contacts there.
3. Pacers. Fred Hoiberg played on this team as well. They drafted him as well so maybe there are even more contacts here? Not sure.

I don't think Fred would go to any other teams due to lack of contacts. His family also wouldn't want to be so far from Ames just so he could coach someone like Durant or Melo. Maybe he opts in for a 1 year deal with a team option? He likes a challenge.

I don't, know, just spitballing.

I will also spitball by saying he could stay at ISU since he played there too. Crazy, I know.

If it's anything other than Lake Minnetonka I'll be disappointed.

You'll think I'm lying but my parents have a place on Lower Whitefish lake in Crosslake MN so I am very familiar with the area. It is the highest-priced and most exclusive lake area in MN outside of Minnetonka (which isn't cabins anyway). Property records in Crow Wing Country are public record and I know the planner for Crow Wing County. His cabin is in Crosslake and it's not hard to know where if you look. Anyone on here who knows me knows I can 100% verify all of this. I am not going to say the exact location of his cabin although it's very close to Tom Cruises' place! :)

I envisioned a place way up north, deep in a coniferous forest, with great fishing. Not a neighbor in sight but a golf course on the other side of the lake.

there are actually a lot of cabins very close together on whitefish. unless you are rich and bought out neighbors and made it wildlife.

wonder who is rich...

What's this even mean? Do you have to apply for the right to buy a house there or what?

the density of good, deep, clear, lakes and wealthy population makes it the most desired location in MN for cabins. There are hundreds of others lakes in MN with similar conditions but not with that many lakes in close proximity (plus several are connected to form one large body of water) make the Crosslake area a very desired area. It is about 3 hours from the cities which mean you can be there and back in a day should something arise.

Oddly enough comparable lakeshore in Iowa is twice as expensive for less amenities.
