Not saying it is good, but Pizza Ranch has a bacon cheeseburger pizza. Jeff's also offers one but I didn't see pickles on it.

We like Great Plains here, but it is best hot out of the oven. Sitting out at something like a Christmas party I can see where it wouldn't be great. It isn't a good cold pizza (but I don't like cold leftover pizza). We don't even like to get it delivered because the cheese starts to set up and just isn't the same at home.

We also like Vesuvius. But I am in the camp that there isn't one "best" pizza--every one has different tastes.
Great Plains is maybe the best cold pizza!

See, everyone has different tastes. Again, I don't eat any pizza cold. Yuck. And if I'm warming up leftover pizza, only the oven will do. No microwaving leftover pizza.

Tastes like we need a poll posted of the places by the OP.

I vote for Pasquales in Humboldt. They also have a few spread around the country in Georgia, Indiana, New York, and Pennsylvania. They also serve reubens and ribeye and tenderloin sandwiches if you do not like pizza.

Pasquale's makes a good St. Louis style pie, loaded with cheese with just enough tangy sauce. They also have the cutest darn pizza boxes that I've seen in Iowa.

Other than deep dish pizza that's just a bunch of tomatoes thrown on a crust I don't think I've come across too many people places that I don't like. Even bad pizza is still pizza, Great Plains, Jeff's, Little Caesar's, Casey's, whatever.

I would say the pizza at Pizza Ranch is average at best but the fried chicken there is amazing.

Try Giordano's in Chicago or Florida..I promise your opinion of Chicago style will change forever.

You should try heating it up in a covered pan or skillet. You have to keep the heat relatively low so you don't burn the crust, but it's damn near as good as fresh that way.

For as good as Little Caesar's is for being $5, it is the worst leftover pizza ever.

Harris' Pizza or one of its clones. But anyone living outside of the Quad Cities wouldn't know this truth.

Happy Joe's has a great taco pizza and their other specialties are very good as well. The sad thing is here in Michigan the common response is "what the hell is a taco pizza?"

This is an outright fail. Not that OC's pizza isn't good, but it's nowhere close to being the best pizza in Iowa. You go there to try new, different beers and the food is complementary to the beer.

QC style pizza!!!!

Just had Zipp's Pizzeria in Adair, IA last night. Very good. Cheese bread was a 9 on 1-10 scale.

I'm sure the pizza itself is good, I just don't like all that tomato.
I don't like chunks of tomato either. Giordano's doesn't put big chunks of tomato on it like a lot of chicago style pizza places do. Try it sometime..it's my favorite thick style pizza!

Torino's Pizza in Fairfield. It's so good, you can feel your arteries clogging up as you eat it.
Can't believe I'm the only one here who has had it.

This. I used to smash Home Team pizzas in college and it was basically marinara and cheese on cardboard. THe 99 cent Totinos frozen pizzas are beyond awful but I'll still eat them

This post reminds me of a sign we have had hanging on the wall in our home office for a very long time: "Sex is like Pizza. When it's good, it's very good. And when it's bad, it's still pretty good!"
