Wow, what a game! When Kane made that layout, I was doing the Daniel Bryan "YES" chant like crazy. As soon as I saw Roy and Fred shaking hands as they announced the game was over, my legs just collapsed out from under me and I was a sobbing *****. I'm not ashamed to admit it, I was completely overwhelmed with happiness.

I didn't think I could love a team as much as last year's team, but this team is special. I was so excited for this season I went to the Cap City Leagues just so I could watch these kids play. Look how far they have come. Everything after tonight is gravy for me. I'm so proud of Fred and the whole team. We ain't done yet!

Was unfortunate enough to be stuck at work during the game. Thank God it was slow enough that I could watch on my phone!

re-watching the game(already). There are lots of amazing gif-worthy shots of Ol' Roy in the last few minutes of the broadcast. If anyone has any free time...

There are at least 3 opportunities of him pouting like a little boy after Long hit 3 after 3.

I just saw a replay of Kane's game winner, it looked like he got away with a carry. Did anyone else see this? Not that I care, it's a win!

I don't even know where to start. This was one for the ages.

First of all, it's a bittersweet sixteen. I feel so bad for Georges that he has to sit and watch from the sidelines. It must be killing him, but kudos to him for coaching his teammates up and staying positive.

Deandre Kane - Wow. Drives me nuts when he barrels into the lane basically begging someone to take a charge, but he led the way today. Yet another Transfer U. success story. That one handed bounce pass from midcourt to Ejim between two defenders was art.

Monte Morris and Naz Long - This program is in good hands next year with these guys coming back. I love the mental toughness and the resiliency they showed. Monte went a long stretch where he couldn't buy a bucket, but there he was at the end firing without hesitation and knocking down a huge three to make it a one score game. And Naz - balls of steel.

The guys who have been here since day one of this reclamation project - CFH and Melvin. It makes this game that much sweeter when you think about where ISU basketball was when they came along. What an amazing four years, and we're just getting started.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go pour my fourth whiskey neat of the evening. Here's to you, Cyclone Nation!

Monte Morris runs the point flawlessly and hits big shots when called upon. Cannot believe he is just a true freshman the way that kid plays.
