Timing on all of RVs comments seems to imply that he's NOT going to UNLV. Makes his announcement that he's going to commit this Saturday after big ISU win. Everyone assumes ISU. Some DB then spreads UNLV rumor and RV sends tweet saying no one knows anything. Why a smokescreen if the rumors are right?

Still assuming he's in cardinal and gold next year.

I doubt the outcome of one ISU game is the basis for his timing or the decision itself. Sounds like all coaches were taken by surprise. I take that as a good sign as much as any, especially more than the outcome of a single game. He has said very positive things about ISU and Fred, more so than others, so we have a good shot. Still concerned about UNLV though. Nobody knows what's gone on behind the scenes as well.

I completely agree. I have been reading back several pages trying to find new relevant information and something other than complete speculation. Thus far I haven't found any; RV has done a hell of a job keeping this a secret.

The only relevant event since he visited UNLV is his announcement regarding this weekend. Even trying use the timing of his announcement and cancellation of future visits to explain which way he is leaning is pointless and only leads me to believe he is probably not going to pick KU or Kentucky.

If I am missing a bombshell of legitimate information that is causing everyone to freak out, please fill me in. Otherwise, we have two days to go and I like our chances as much as I did after the Michigan game.

Nope, you are not missing anything. We still have just as good of shot as we have had for months.

Now everyone else can continue with their regularly scheduled freak out because they think a tweet or a 247 prediction means something even though RV says nobody knows anything.

Sorry for the interruption, continue with the preemptive meltdown

There's a ton of things I'd love to do in Vegas...going to an underachieving mid-major basketball teams home games is not one of them.

We could be the hands down favorite but with the number of top 25 recruits we've landed compared to other schools the national media will still predict the other teams, in my opinion.
