I don't think it's as big of deal as others make it to be. If he comes here, wonderful. If he doesn't, Fred will find a great player who can contibute multiple years rather than just one. Also, if he goes to UNLV we can rest assured there was nothing we could do once he left the Midwest. In that case, the $ got to him.

I don't know why people are acting like UNLV doesn't have anything to offer. They've been getting Top 50 talent for years now. Obviously, they have something to offer.

look...As much as I'd like to have the kid..i have 100% faith that CFH will acquire every bit as good a fit for our team if he doesn't come.

hes projected one and done.....would anyone trade George's niangs college career for nerlens Noel's? I wouldn't...I'm glad we have George's for 2 more years.

we could very well miss on him and get a great player anyway. THAT'S where this program is now. I don't say that dismissing the impact a player of his caliber would mean for the program....but it's not going to be back breaking if he doesn't.

I still have hope that he will commit to the good guys. That said, if he doesn't pick us, I'd rather have him commit to UNLV than Huckleberry Hound, Calamari, or KU. I am just glad that the announcement is coming this Saturday instead of March or April. This way, if he doesn't commit, Fred has more time to implement "Plan B."

I completely agree. RV gave us a solid look and that is what you can hope for. If it is indeed UNLV, no worries...the staff did everything they could. We will be fine if he does indeed choose another school.

Agreed. It's not like he owes us anything. Not a local guy, and even if he was he still wouldn't. And if we don't get him I hope we don't use the classic Iowa line. "WDWHA"
