Is this another "one and done" Kansas team?

If they play their game they won't be losing until the Sweet 16. They are likely to be a #1 seed so I doubt they "slip by" the 16 seed in the 1st round. They have a huge advantage in having 2 go-to low post scorers. If Self wants to be, they can be drought proof, which is crucial in the dance. They also have better athletes at nearly every position than 99% of teams in CBB, if Self decides to, they can lock down pretty much anyone on the defensive end and create a ton of turnovers. Credit where credit is due, they're a good team with an even better upside.

A team that could beat them would be a veteran, tournament tested team, which there aren't many of out there to come up against.

Who knows. The one thing I know is that I hate Kansas. I hate Bill Self. I am glad these games are done.

If you ask me Selfie and Calipari are cut from the same cloth. With the quasi agents shopping the top players, I can't imagine how much KU had to "invest" to assemble this roster. I can only hope that their investment ends with an early exit from the NCAA tournament.

It will be hard to beat this team, with Wiggins and Embiid. Even if the calls are going against them.

This was the only loss this year where I though ISU played well for the most part, and KU still hammered us with relative ease. They are a good team. Anything less than the Final 4 will be a huge disappointment.

They are very good, I wonder if somebody with some size and length (Syracuse is the prime example obviously) zoned them a whole game, if they would handle it? Not many teams capable of controlling the glass out of a zone against KU's length though...they are a tough, tough out. I was actually very pleased with our effort and for the most part our results against them last night, we were right in the game with a chance to win it with 3:30 to go, at their place, and then a questionable call plus 3 turnovers right together...damn.

I predict they will slip by their first round to get hammered in the second.

This sounds like a sour grapes thread. Personally, after we are done with them, I'd love to see a Big 12 team win it all. I'll be rooting for them to do just that if ISU does not. Same goes for any other Big 12 team in the tournament.

The only thing Self and Calipari have in common is that they were both graduate assistants at Kansas. They and their programs are about as opposite as can be.

The only "one and done" associated with ths Kansas team this year will be Freshman going to the draft.

I hope there are a lot.

And now the "they're good and recruit well, so they're cheating" posts begin.
