I'm sure you realize that the fine folks at 247 Sports are just making guesses at where prospects will land. They make and update the predictions to generate traffic to the site. I haven't kept any stats, but from what I've seen and heard they're among the worst at forecasting these outcomes well in advance of an actual commitment--though they do seem to amend their predictions when the impending commitment becomes a poorly kept secret. For example, they and the rest of the lemmings were sure Emmanuel Mudiay was going to Kentucky. Then, just a couple of days before his announcement he gave an interview that sounded very pro-SMU and used the phrase "shock the world." So, lo and behold, all the pundits suddenly knew he was going to announce for SMU. The truth is that most of them didn't really know anything until the announcement was imminent.
In short, Vaughn may end up at ISU, but any relationship between the 247 predictions and the truth on that subject would be purely coincidental. Most of the participants in the "Crystal Ball Predictions" are the recruiting equivalents of Larry, Moe and Curly. However, they sure would appreciate it if y'all would stop by and check out the site!
