Re: Rashad Vaughn

Don't forget a bench of:

Custer,
SDW,
Naz,
Nader,
Mckay

Those five alone might be able to compete with the lower half of our conference next year.

Those 5 alone coached by Fred would be a top 5 team in the conference. Think of the deeeeepth

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Awesome. However I really have a feeling Monte could be the best point guard to ever play in an ISU uniform before it is all said and done......

I love Man Man, but better than Tinsley?

It could happen, and I hope it does, but I'm not going to expect it so that I'm not disappointed.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I wont be as disappointed if Vaughn comes here as I would of been in the past. We are going to be absolutely loaded the next 2-3 years regardless if Vaughn comes or not and Hoiberg has shown that we are going to be an NCAA tourney team probably every year (with an exception of years here and there). I hope we get Vaughn, because this lineup:

Morris
Thomas
Vaughn
Hogue
Niang

That would be crazy and would probably contend for a final 4 run.

The only, and I mean only, problem with that lineup is how bad a rebounding lineup that would be. Hogue is the only above average rebounder in that group. That alone guarantees that lineup wouldn't start games to me. Rebounding is just so important.

I have no clue how good a rebounder Nader will be, but to me, there's no question 2 of Hogue, McKay or a good rebounding Nader will start.

How about:

Morris
Vaughn
McKay (adds most height at 6'8")
Hogue
Niang

With a bench of:
Custer
Long
Thomas
SDW
Nader
Gibson
Edozie

Yes please!

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I know I've participated before but can we get Vaughn before we make lineups with Vaughn in them? I feel like were all gonna be really let down. Let's go with what we got to talk about right now.

Which is why this thread should be on page 10 or whatever.

Agree with the silliness of lineups for next season, especially if involving guys who may or may not even be on the team. Couldn't resist the lineups that have Niang as our 2nd best rebounder, however.

Not a chance in hell Vaughn would be out rebounded by Niang.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Stop posting.

It's not out of the realm of possibilities. Highly unlikely? Sure. I personally think the leap from his freshman to sophomore year will be huge. Anyway, there are probably other threads that things that have very little chance of happening can be further discussed.
