As long as we are in his final five, it is all good, but I would be surprised to see KU in there. They have commitments from two top 20 wings (one being his current teammate) and may return 6 guards. Of course, all of those returning players are highly ranked.
Final 5 (no order)
Iowa State
UNLV
North Carolina
Kentucky
Arizona
While possible I would be surprised if he drops Baylor since he took an official there. I think its between Arizona and Kentucky for the fifth official. Its possible that he cuts one that he has taken an official to or is scheduled for (UNC) and takes an unofficial to the last school (or replaces the UNC official) but kind of unlikely.
He never took an official to Baylor. He cancelled it.
If it's anyone it would probably be UNLV. They really hurt themselves with his visit.
Will be interesting to see if Fred or Matt make a trip down there this week.
He's already said Iowa State will be in his top 5
Question: "Since you aren't taking an official to Iowa State does that mean they aren't top 5??"
Answer: "lol imma go out on a limb and say iowa st will make my top 5"
I don't know which meltdown would be worse- the meltdown on gopher hole if he drops Minnesota, or the meltdown here if he drops us
Not sure why UK would make the list. They basically quit on him.
On his final 5 for sure:
ISU
UNLV
Kentucky
UNC
Last one goes to:
Minnesota or Kansas
That's my guess. The 4 schools he has officials with and Minnesota because he is from there and Kansas because it's Kansas and his Findlay teammate Kelly Oubre is going there. Baylor and Arizona will be out.
