Must have sold well enough that JP sold his own suite so as to get the extra revenue..

Our coaches use having the 20th largest scoreboard (I know we've moved down last 2 years) as a selling point to recruits. You don't think coaches would like to say we have the 3rd largest stadium in the Big 12 Conference?

Yep, the 2008 RDg drawings show a bowled in stadium capacity of 53,000. Plus approximately 7,000 on the north hillsides would bring the total to 60,000. You are right on the money.


EDIT: In adding up RDg's own numbers from their plans, I come up with a proposed stadium seating capacity of 53,200. Then if we add 6,800 for the north hillsides that would bring the total proposed stadium capacity to 60,000. Jamie is a numbers man, I'm sure that he'll find a way to up the capacity to 61,000.
