Car chase and shots fired

Hate to see someone die, but he clearly was putting civilians and Officers lives at risk. Repeatedly ramming cop cars will get you shot. No grey area in reality, theoretically maybe you could argue they should have had another plan of action.
From what I'm understanding, Trudy believes there should've been no shots fired until someone, at least a police officer, got hurt, to make the shooting justified.

He stole his dada vehicle and lawn equipment, but has his parents said why or anything? I haven't followed to closely, but did he not like his parents, bullied, anything?
Because his dad refused to buy him a pack of cigarettes. No, I am not being facetious.
Dad wouldn't either go buy cigarettes for him or take him to buy cigarettes, something like that.
His dad wouldn't take him to the store to buy a pack of cigarettes. So, he stole his dad's truck, dad call cops to retrieve it...the rest is on video.
the part where she tries to make it sound like lots of people have run red lights/accidentally backed into someone and that's pretty much the same thing as what Comstock did is pretty gold.
Was he trying to back over that kid at the 2:45 mark? It looks like he's chasing him around. After going through the 2nd sign at the 3:04 mark, he almost hits the kid.
I still think the winner of her comments was the one where she tried to claim that Comstock being shot was a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Because he was emotional. Which is just like being diabetic.
This is sad all the way around but and of course the family is all over the police on how they handled it, but for the life of me his dad has to realize that if he wouldn't have called the police in the first place I suspect Tyler is still here. We'll never know for sure.
