This a billion. I eat my skittles by color... and green was ALWAYS my last color to eat. Imagine being in highschool, all pumped about about Skittles and then having apple as the flavor you are left with. It is not even like they plastered it all over the bag "Now with apple" nope... they just changed the word lime to apple on their little Skittle scale. Criminal.

What??? When did this happen? Apparently it's been a long time since I've had skittles... I loved the lime ones. I hate fake apple flavor...

So I found out that most candy is too sweet for me... Whatever I eat has to have nuts in it to temper the sugar down. Probably enjoyed the almond joy the most... Otherwise I'll only touch the dark chocolate or pb twix or something. (I don't like milk chocolate or white chocolate)And apparently I'm not a huge caramel or nougat fan... Milky way and 3 musketeers can take a hike.

I will destroy a thing of toffee covered peanuts/almonds/cashews though.

We have a mixed bucket of sugar and chocolate candy each year and it seems as though kids prefer sugar candy (skittles, gummy savers, lemon heads, starbursts) over the chocolate candy (m&m's, kit kats etc). Don't get me wrong, the chocolate gets picked too, but the sugar candy seems to be a bigger hit every year.

I am surprised that every year the plain Hershey bars are the first to go and highest volume. I like Hershey just as much as the next guy, but I wouldn't pick it over a Butterfinger or Snickers or Kit Kat or Reese's or

So much to respond to in this thread:

I can eat the orange and black flavored candy AND candy corn, but I'd prefer not too. They aren't the worst though.

Green apple and banana flavored things are low on likeability.

The chocolate covered air IS not a Milky Way, it's 3 Musketeers. I used to hate nuts in any candy or fudge or cookie so I ate Milky Way. I like nuts a little more now but still not a lot and have upgraded to Snickers.

Almond Joy and Mounds suck. I heard this on the radio the other day that Almond Joy was the #2 stolen candy bar in America behind Reese's. The top 5 had Snickers, Butterfinger and Kit-Kat.

Black licorice is bad. It took me awhile to acquire a taste for beer, and with no alcohol in it there's no way I'm doing the same for licorice.

Better cut myself off before tl;dr, if it isn't already.

Candy corn is the absolute worst...same with black licorice and banana laffy taffy.
You must have the vapors. Black licorice whips are the bees knees. Next thing you'll tell me, women can vote.

where to start, candy corn obviously, mounds as North said, milk duds, 3 musketeers, and those orange candy peanuts.

So was I the only one who didn't know that these were called circus peanuts?

Not a Halloween candy at all, but at Christmas, like 50 years ago, we used to get this Christmas Candy that was super sweet and colorful on the outside hard candy shell, but this truly noxious sweet jelly filling. I don't have any idea what it was called.

Now remember this was a long time ago (not the depression or anything) but a kid didn't get candy so often and literally any candy was eaten and appreciated. Except that ****. Anyone else remember that?

You all wouldn't be complaining about circus peanuts, candy corn or 3 Musketeers if you ever had that in your past.

Usually about 3 weeks after Christmas the congealed glob was finally pitched.

They do it off and on without warning... first time I encountered it was in 2003 and the next time I was a few years later. Not sure if they are still around but I always check my skittles bag now for the word lime.

I actually didn't mind circus peanuts when I was a kid because it was always better than those nasty neopolitan colored candies that Brachs put out that tasted of coconut and vomit. Also, anything black licorice flavored is the work of the devil. Seems like people either love it or hate it.

My father loved those - he always tried to tell me they were the same things as the ones that were the same shape, but were nougat with little jellied pieces in them. NOT!!!

I just bought a bag of these about 2 weeks ago when I had an actual sore throat. I was surprised to know there are still out there. And delicious as always. Pretty much the same as the Wild Cherry Lifesavers. Speaking of Life Savers, when did they switch out the delicious pineapple ones for those awful banana flavor abominations that they made the same color?

Green Apple Skittles have officially replaced Strawberry as best flavor, for original anyways. Lemon still remains worst.
