Fair enough. You could argue non stop about boarderline players like Marble and Kane. Will either make a NBA roster? Who knows, they could. Will either actually contribute in the NBA? I doubt it very, very much.

I agree on the contributions, Kane has a better chance on getting a chance though with Fred.

So let me get this straight, we can diminish Kane because of stats he got while playing for Marshall yet have the audacity to claim a stiff like Woodbury "could be drafted"?

I know who the better baskeball player is.

Please state each % chance, so we can get into yet another squabble about some meaningless detail.

:twitcy:

As I said you can argue about boardline players all day:

Jeff Goodman@GoodmanESPN33m
Oklahoma City has waived Diante Garrett and former K-State wing Rodney McGruder.

Hey, Jeff Withey got drafted. It's a different approach when it comes to guys with size.

Withey was in a completely different situation though. Learning from some great players ahead of him as an underclassmen and getting coached by some of the best in the business when it comes to big men

Marble 0%
Kane > 0%

IIRC, you were the one who started the "meaningless" "contributor" discussion.

DG played 19 games in the NBA, Fran's players have played 0 games.

We're talking about two guys that both are going to play PG this year right? Only see one name...

The Bob Cousy Award

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State senior guard DeAndre Kane has been named to the Bob Cousy Award Watch List. The Bob Cousy Award is given to the top collegiate male basketball point guard annually spanning across all divisions.

In my defense, I knew that arguing about boarderline guys can turn into a long drawn out thread derailment.....so I was right about that.

Why do people keep engaging in dialogue with deanvogs. He's a moron and a troll.

If Ejim keeps shooting the way he has been in practice this year, he will be our three and has a legit shot at the NBA. I also think Morris will be in the NBA, and maybe Nader too.

Marble is definitely more of a wing.

I agree but Iowa doesn't have anybody on their team that can handle the ball, which is why Franny missing on Ulis and LaChance was awesome. I don't think LaChance is even that good anyway, but we won't have to find that out now.

I would be surprised to see anybody from Iowa State or iowa get more than a cup of coffee in the league. I don't know why people have such a hard time w/ that.
