Let's be proactive and get a corporation to sponsor the floor.

Welcome to the Mutual of Omaha Court at Hilton Coliseum.

It's all about the Dollar Bills, yo. Principal Financial, JohnDeere, pick a farm related business and sell all naming rights

Dupont Pioneer already has their logo, get on their *** first.

The floor won't be named after Johnny. Some people, led by Cyclonepride, actually had some communication with JP about that.
He responded by revealing that something was coming to honor Johnny, but without saying what that would be. Obviously, it was Johnny's.

I think the floor is saved for Fred, at least in my world.

I wouldn't be surprised if its saved for Fennelly...

Another question I had about the court is why we don't but the BIG XII logo in the lanes? It was included on the original mock photo of the court when the new logo was revealed. Not that I really give a damn about the Big 12 but I was just curious.

I think Pollard said it was because the bigxii was in serious trouble withrealignment when it was painted last. If it did go down they didn't want to re paint

Johnny got that statue and the donor place.

If we play our cards right, the floor could easily be Hoiberg Floor at some point. Star player turns into star coach?

I think Johnny has been recognized plenty by ISU. Fred has already equaled Johnny's number of seasons over .500 in conference play in just 3 seasons.

Just curious if anyone else would like to see the court named after Coach Orr, a la "Eddie Sutton Court" or "Norm Stewart Court." "Johnny Orr Court" doesn't have a great ring to it, but neither do the others. Maybe they're waiting to name it "Fred Hoiberg Court." I'd be okay with that too.

Carver has Mediacom Court. FWIW.

Gotta leave enough room for the Pioneer logos.

It's also kind of funny that we have no Big XII logo on our court and I'm pretty sure every other team in the conference does.

I love Johnny Orr, but you don't name a court after somebody who only had 2 winning records in conference play and 0 conference titles. He brought us to respectability, not national or even conference prominance.

It would be the equivalent of naming the football field after Dan McCarney - yet no one is willing to admit this.
