To be fair, the American models did trend wetter this morning. If they were to verify 8-10 might be more likely in Des Moines.

As far as the next system goes, its not showing anywhere near that much rain(none at all the past few runs). CMC and Euro both stay far enough south its all snow as well.

Forgive my wandering mind, but that caught me differently than you intended.

A little perspective for this thread...FDWXMAN is a hell of a meterologist. One of the best. Much better at that than sportscasting! ZING

Oooh burn! Though the 04-07 CSL roster has to have been one one of the most stacked rosters of prospects in the history of anything.

FWIW, this is the 2nd result from a Google image search of "Thundersnow":

Any body notice that the sky was colorless last night? I've always been told that the night before it snows, the sky is always red.

As such, I'm changing my very amateur predictions. We wont get ****. Time to move on to the Monday storm.

Still think 4-8" is appropriate up my way for SE MN and N Iowa. Very little wind to contend with. Have fun and stay safe everyone.

Hearing of Thundersnow and 2" per hour snow rates in KC.

I'm shocked CSL doesn't get referenced more on here. It was apointment television for me and my roommates. Does the fourth guy from the panel do anything sports related now?

I canceled my trip down to KC tonight. Some of my coworkers made the trip last night and said that it started snowing a little before 8 in KC and they have THUNDERSNOW!

We did have the 2am-3am replay window on ISUTV. So it helped that we could get the audience while they were too drunk to know what they were watching.

I'm still convinced that's the highest rated time slot on ISUTV.

Are you thinking of Grant Wall probably? I covered football/men's basketball with him at the Daily, and he was Sports Editor for a while?

He is now the Sports Information Director at Winona State.

Kaj O'Mara was occasionally on to talk NASCAR, he is now a meteorologist at KCRG.

So true about that time slot. That's when everybody watched. Just hammered and probably making fun of us.

Grant Wall is who I was think of. Between you guys and Oxymorons there was many hours wasted watching ISUTV.

We have about a foot here in Wichita, the city is shut down and my work laptop isn't working right so it*looks like I am not getting anything done today. They say we could get a few more inches which would make it the biggest snow storm on record here.

I was told that they don't plow the neighborhood streets here...I don't buy it but we will see.
