Coach Coale spent the whole post game press conference blaming the loss on the officials.

Big surprise there. She didn't think Courtney Paris committed a foul in her entire career at OU (as she bulled over opponents in every game) and that Paris was fouled on EVERY single OU possession. Sure they had a ton of fouls tonight but tough cookies Sooners.

We had 34 free throws to their 14. And their 5 starters had 24 fouls total. At home.

that doesn't happen often in the Big 12.

OU fouled intentionally 4 times in the final minute, and finished with 26.

Without those, 22 isn't an obscene number of fouls. They just don't have the depth to spread the fouls around.

She makes a lot of good points. I understand why she is angry.

When she was pointing out how they shot better than ISU and had more rebounds, she forgot to mention how OU also had more turnovers (+4, if I remember correctly) and fewer steals (-6). Oh and to add to the 4 intentional fouls theshadow mentioned, it sounded like OU also fouled intentionally earlier in the second half to avoid giving up a 3 on 1 break. I don't know if ISU ever did something similar, but without those, 21-17 is starting to look pretty near even.

In the highlights, she looked angry and hardly wanted to look at Fennelly. Oh the wrath of an Southern Blonde, they are legendary, and she will be smoldering still next year. Beware Fennelly, and all referees that dare to cross her path!

Well, no surprise that officiating might be maddening. We've all been there. But... it's a little much to be non-responsive to questions other than imply that her players couldn't do anything because of the refs.
