Who is Jake Walters?

Is that like John Walters but with glasses and mustache? Does he know Dave McCarney?

Yes, playing on a wildly talented JC team. I don't understand the obsession here with this kid. Good luck to him at K-State.

Alabama called on him last week..... Nothing to see here.... Iowa kid didnt even get offered by any D1 school in the state... Like i said in another thread, Im not too tore up that we didnt offer or get him, But Snag's knows his Juco QB's.. And If Alabama Called inquiring about him, he must look good to others other then yourself...

Way up there
This kid is good, I watched all of IWCC's home games, he was the best player on the field every game. Would love to have gotten him to Ames.

From what I've heard his receivers make him look good. I believe like 5 of his receivers are going to D1 schools. I have not seen him play but I also heard a lot of the plays are short passes and the receivers do all the work. I'm sure he is a solid player, but hell some people can make you look better than you are (Cam Newton and Chizik).

Emaw crowd is losing their collective minds. My buddy compared him to Cam Newton. Slow down there purple Kansas, he had three BCS offers and one was from a school that is pretty much on the death penalty.

To be fair, Cam only had 6 BCS offers on this Rivals profile as a Juco, and only 7 BCS offers on his profile from HS, but on the other hand, he was a 5* recruit out of HS.

I don't know much about Jake, but I doubt he is anything like Cam Newton. I truly believe you get what you pay for and I doubt KSU had to shell out anything to get Waters. :spinny:

Have you seen their recruiting class? They haven't had much to be excited about on the recruiting fronts lately

I assumed Wimberly was still a soft verbal to the good guys. Where is this info from?

244/333 (73.3%), 3501 yards, 39TD, 3INT

Dude is good no matter who his WR are. And 2 of them are going Div I, to Maryland and Illinois - not exactly world beaters these days.

Why would kids want to go to K-st? Snyder probably has one year left after this one and his tank will be empty.

Manhattan is a dump. Nobody in their right mind would set foot there.
