All three had offered Morris as well. I wonder if our offer is still standing? He's certainly making noise.

I apparently missed the offer on Wesley Clark, or it happened fairly silently. Last I had in early May was that Iowa State, USC and Xavier were all showing strong interest in Clark but no mention of an offer.

Also, just found a story from yesterday at the Skills Academy out there and Wesley Clark listed USC, Xavier, Dayton and Creighton. I believe that Iowa State has not offered despite what other things may indicate; if we were to have offered I think we would have at least been mentioned yesterday.

Seems like Zach Hanson is a guy they are going after pretty hard because Rivals lists both Hoiberg and Abdelmassih as recruiting him.

Just to make the whole Wes Clark thing more confusing, a new article that just came out from NBESports indicates that we have offered Clark:

2013 guard Wes Clark has been most actively pursued by Xavier, Dayton, Creighton, Iowa, Iowa State, UMass, Indiana and Nebraska with all having offered him. The most important thing for Clark is landing at a place where he can win.

With conflicting reports I will leave it as showing interest on the lists until I can find some solid evidence either way...

Scout and Rivals both list ISU as having offered.

Oh recruiting... How fascinating you are:

AAU coaches vs HS coaches
"recruiting analysts"
AAU sponsors
Agents connected to said sponsors and AAU coaches
So much drama
so much conflicting and contradicting info
So much fun

Seems to be a lot of confusion about the two Romulus kids (Clark and Matthews) at the moment. Offers or interest? Favorites or wide open?

Final random item for this post: remember last summer how a report of Okoro "being ready to commit to Iowa State" came out and he denied it?

Approximately 3 weeks later He committed to Iowa State.

Judging by tweets, and the schedules I have GLANCED at... REACH legends (Martez Walker) and Michigan Mustangs (Monte Morris) will be at the Adidas Invitational in Indy. Hassan Martin mentioned he and his team are en route to Indianapolis today as well. Cornell Mann is going to be watching there.

Abdul Malik-Abu heading to Philadelphia to the Reebok Breakout Challenge, where Abdelmassih indicated he is going. That likely means Jared Terrell and Alec Brannen (Expressions Elite AAU) are going to be there as well.

Some people are getting overly concerned about what positions we have filled but we aren't a Kentucky.. IMO we focus on talent over what positions are filled. I'd take EC Matthews and Wesley Clark now in a heartbeat because stuff happens such as (injuries, players decommiting, players not reaching their potential, etc.). I do think Hassan Martin should be a top target though. He has the potential to be great. Good thing we have Cornell Mann in Indy watching him this weekend!
