Help: Site error

Mods I keep getting this message when I try to view anything on the forum menu and it has also came up when I tried to view a few threads.

cyguytillidie, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. You have not "opted-in" to view the section you are trying to view (i.e. Political forum). Make sure that you have checked the appropriate selections on your "UserCP" - "Group Membership" page.
2. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
3. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

What's going on?

I got the same error for the mafia thread. (even using the app)

We are modifying the Gaming and Hobbies forum and making it opt-in. That's why you were seeing an error. I've reverted the permissions for now

HDSam- I'm curious as to why we cannot comment on press releases. The 1920's piece today and others had a lot of worth talking points for my fellow fanatics. Any insight to that?

I think that forum is just closed to comment by default, always has been.

Yeah no error. Just doing some testing. I'll make an official post about this here in a bit.

Sam is my behind-the-scenes tech helper guy. Runs our server, etc. He's the man who makes CF go from the tech end. Be nice to him.

While talking about the gaming\hobbies forum... could we split that forum so one has actual 'gaming' (like pc\xbox games) and one has things like the mafia threads?
