2003 vs UNI when I was 11. That was the last game I made it to in 03 but ever since the 04 season I have not missed very many home games.

1998 vs. Ball State in a 38-0 win. It was the week after we ended the streak against Iowa. I had actually been to 2 Iowa games the year before but for some reason decided I liked Iowa State more, and talked my dad into taking me to an ISU game to celebrate the win over the Hawks.

2007 vs K-State. We won 31-20.

Never had an opportunity to go to a game when I was really young, as my family weren't that big of fans and didn't have a lot of money to spend on football. But I was able to talk my parents into letting me go to the game as a Christmas present. Dad and I went up to the Colorado game a week later (won 31-28) as well.

Haven't missed a home game since 2008.

1995 and have only missed one home game since. Looking back at the pictures, I wish our football team had improved as much as our tailgating.

ISU vs. Florida State at Arrowhead. I was in the front row in the corner where Seneca SCORED the touchdown! We got the shaft! Amazing game.

I'm not really sure. My family and I have been going to games for a long time since we live in Ankeny. The oldest one I remember is Kansas State in 98 or 99. We were up big on a good Kansas State team but they came back to beat us in the second half. I remember JJ Moses almost scored at the end of the first half. There were probably some earlier than that I just don't remember.

Drake 1976 We won 58-14. I could swear we had a kickoff return to start the game, but can't find any record of it. Ray Hardee?

Of course I recall the greatest play ever witnessed, the Luther Blue return versus NU.

Man...I don't really remember. Probably in the 1987-1989 range. My Dad farmed so we didn't go to many football games. I remember watching Blaise Bryant. It was fun to see him back at the Oklahoma State game. As a funny aside, one of my first memories and for sure my first football memory is listening to Iowa football on the radio with my mom on fall afternoons when my Dad was in the field. She'd be doing her Saturday work and we would listen to Ron Gonder and Frosty Mitchell on WMT. (you couldn't get Iowa State games on the radio very easily in NE Iowa back then) After Iowa would score, we'd clap along to the fight song. It is lucky I didn't turn out an Iowa fan!

First game was 1969 versus Brigham Young but I don't really remember that game, had to look up who we played. I do remember the Missouri game later that season mostly because of the snow ball fights in the stands.

That ticket stub is absolutely awesome; thanks so much for sharing! They actually punched holes in it for each game, like a Subway club card???

2000 season against UNLV. I remember getting all excited about seeing players from all over th country on our team. I thought college football was like high school football in that you had to try out for the team, and they were all Iowa kids. I didn't know a damn thing about football then. I was 14.

Very cool ticket stub. Those really aren't all that different then my student tickets in the late 90's.
