Looks almost as nice as Lincoln's new heartthrob facilty with the 40 ft waterfall. Maybe the players become too complacent in nice surroundings.

Compared to A&M's facilities, a lot of schools look like the sisters of the poor.

Oregon and Oklahoma State are going to be second to none in the way of collegiate sports facilities. In helps to have contributers that are willing to donate $100 million or more to a program.

All those advantages at A&M and Nebraska, yet both programs are in the process of firing their coaches.

Do we have anything remotely like that? Do we have a supply room full of clothes or a hot tub? I know we don't have a players lounge like that

its one of the reasons why theyre firing their coaches. unlike some other schools where it could be questioned whether the school is giving enough support in facilities and such, schools like texas a&m are putting the money necessary behind it, but not getting results.

Their weight room is amazing... We worked out there when we played them... Those lanes there are big enough to run a 40 or a 60 and still have room to slow down...

The other reason is they believe in winning. Some programs will tolerate losing for a long time...even as long as 12 years if all they ever get is mediocre. But these schools believe 7-5 is a bad year and anything worse intolerable. Good for them.

I love to see it, too. Those kind of resources and mediocre teams. Ha. Gives the have-nots at least a little hope.

I loved it even more when we went to A&M and smoked them. Most impressive win of the McCarney era, in my opinion.

That's very true. You get some people with cash and an school administration that believes in a winning athletic program together, and you're going to get taj mahal facilities. Probably also going to get some graft and corruption, but that's another story...

I would love to see some math whiz on here put together a success/budget ratio and graph out the big 12 teams. I consider our athletic program as a whole decent for the money we have. But as JP as preached, we need to rake in the money to see more success.
