I have never really watched the NBA before. If a Cav's game was on I would watch some just to see Lebron but that was about it. My new favorite NBA team will be whatever team Craig is drafted by and I will try and follow that team. Anybody else in the same boat?

I couldn't agree more. Not too much of a NBA fan although I do like catching a few games of the superstars. I will definitely be following Brackins.

I'm not much of an NBA fan either. My family is from Indy, so I've grown up liking the Pacers, but don't follow much anymore. I might buy a Brackins jersey from wherever he goes just for fun!

When Tinsley went to the Pacers I pretty much watched every game they played while he was there. I can understand becoming a fan because of an ISU player joining the team. Heck, when Vroman was traded to the Hornets I watched many of their games as well and they were terrible.

If Craig got drafted by the Bulls... that would be nice.

Regardless, I really won't care. Tried to watch the NBA and follow Freddie, Cato, Willoughby, Fizer and Tinsley. But particularly when JT and MF were there - the game is so unwatchable, regardless of the connections.

They won't be my favorite team but definitely a team that I will follow throughout the season. It will be the same as I do with Deron Williams and the Jazz.

I'm always loyal to my teams, so if Craig goes to the Celts, my world would be perfect...I'll still root for him unless he ends up on the Lakers, Cavs, Knicks, Hawks, Bulls or Pistons....if that happens he's dead to me.

im gonna have to stick to my Orlando boys......have been a fan of the magic since i was real young. I will admit though i will definately root for and follow the team that Craig goes too. I think he will actually have a good productive and fairly long nba career

A CB jersey may be in my future though shortly after he is drafted!

Its so funny this is thread because without watching this I was telling a co-worker of mine that I didn't have a favorite NBA team until tonight, then it would be whoever drafted him.

I am in the same boat.

And if he gets playing time next season, I might actually find myself watching regular season NBA games... :wideeyed:

There is no such thing as a favorite NBA team. The NBA sucks worse than World Cup Soccer.

And there is no such thing as a new favorite team. If you have a "new" favorite team, you don't have a favorite team. Period. After a certain age, say about 12-18, you just can't change favorite teams.

How 'bout you speak for yourself...I happen to really like the NBA and have been a loyal Celtics fan for over 20 years, so please don't tell me that there's no such thing as a favorite NBA team.
