I like Findley & Buddle. It's nice to see them get some experience esp. with Altidore resting that ankle. Will that yellow card Dempsey got carry over into the real games?
Just flipped over to it. Where in the heck is this being played at? I don't know what to think about that field/surrounding.
It's Australia's training base during the WC. Apparently the Australian coach HATES the playing surface. He thinks it's complete crap and wants his team moved.
The vuvuzelas will be around for the whole World Cup. I think we're going to have to get used to them. But yes, they are extremely annoying.
I don't think Dempsey's yellow carries over. You start the Cup on a clean slate, regardless of what's happened in in qualifying and friendlies.
I think the biggest concerns have been communication around our goal. There's a lot of apprehension by the inexperienced backs. We really need Gooch to be healthy and playing like he did last summer in the Confed Cup.
Also, you guys have said it, but scoring Oppenheimer are hard to come by in the Cup and you have to capitalize. We should have at least goals on the board, with the chance for another one or two.

It looks like he lost his footing on the field. The Aussie coach is right, this playing surface is trash.
