I bought a ton of blu rays on amazon....they are having a huge sale. They have the exact same prices as everything in the BB ad, only with no tax and with free shipping!

Stupid Black Friday!
Father-in-law calls at 5:45 from the Menards parking lot, "you guys may want to head to your menards because there are like 400 cars in the parking lot."
calls back at 6:15, "Never mind, I got everything I came for."

And no, we were not planning on getting up to shop this morning. Gonna sleep in until the kids wake up. The kids are still sleeping.....

We went to Walmart in Ankeny at 5:00. It was rediculous and we left. Went to Best Buy by 5:30 in Ankeny and it was perfect. We got a 32 inch Samsung LCD for a decent deal, a Sony Blueray player for $129.99 (less than the ad said) and a few Blueray discs for decent prices. Went to Sportsmans in Ankeny and got buy one pair of socks get one for a $1 and a $4.99 pair of gloves.

Nothing too great, but Best Buy and Sportsmans were dead compared to what I thought it would be. Saw a line at Menards before they opened that was all the way from the front door to the end of the garden center doors.

8:15 and I just got up, having a cup of coffee reading CF. Well rested, warm and just ordered a gift on line. I love the internet!

yesterday I was going to my grandmothers house near chicago and drove by best buy. at 1:00pm on thanksgiving there were already a dozen or so tents out front at at least 30-40 people. is that really even worth it? IMO my time and not sitting out in the cold all thanksgiving is worth the extra $100 you'll save on whatever. crazy people I tell ya..... CRAZY!! today is the worst

Haha, I had a similar experience this morning. Wife's mom called around 6 asking exactly what kind of hair straightener she needed to get.
