Does it have it's own little devoted fanbase, but outside of that nobody cares? That's a cult film. Not Fight Club and some of these other movies.Would River's Edge qualify?
I always thought "cult" meant that it flopped upon initial release but gained a level of popularity via word of mouth as time passed. This would implicate both Big Lebowski and Office Space.

Ishtar. Hands down a treat for those that like dry humor and washed-up amateur song writers.

From the opening ice cream truck scene to the finale, this is one heck of a movie.
