The original "Assault on Precinct 13" written and directed by John Carpenter.

From the opening ice cream truck scene to the finale, this is one heck of a movie.

Didn't read through the whole thread but whoever stated Boon Dock Saints is terrible was understated. That movie is full of cliches and terrible one-liners...oh, and Ron Jeremy's performance is Oscar-worthy. I don't get the hype on this flick.

"Obviously you're not a golfer"
"Ah the drop went good. Dudes car got a little dinged up"
The Big Lebowski
Has so many excellent lines.

I'll add to the overall list:

_Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead
_Killing Zoe
_True Romance (maybe not a cult hit)
_John Carpenter's The Thing
_The Conversation (overlooked Francis Ford Coppola flick)
_Dressed To Kill, and Body Double (Both Brian De Palma flicks)

That ice cream truck scene was SO twisted. I loved it.
You just don't get to see scens like that anymore. Probably for good reason, but it's unforgettable.

You must really really really really like Pulp Fiction.

Don't know if the comparison's fair with Things To Do in Denver, although a lot of people make it. I guess it has a non-linear story so it's similar in that way. Obviously the other two have ties directly to Tarantino. And yes, I really, really, really, really like Pulp Fiction. Did I mention I like Pulp Fiction?:jimlad:
