sorry guys, he wasn't physically cut by a Ram, but if its a consolation he was cut by the Pro team in St Louis........maybe he tried throwing a football with his head...

Maybe he can make some money with his new book deal.

The world just isn't fair. If Drew was 1-2 inches taller, he would be an all-pro!

Maybe Brad Banks will get him a job at Burger King. The can relive old glory days on the football field by the fry cooker.

I heard them say on WHO 13 that his arm was too weak for the NFL and that he could not complete routine passes. Did anyone watch him during his career at Iowa? He made a living on that bubble screen. Anytime they tried to go more then 10 yards down the field, I swear his % hovered around 10%.

He was not a good quarterback and I really do not know of anyone who lived off of one play more then he did, at least in this state.

What do you mean he's not a good quarterback? I thought we all knew he was gonna be Iowa's next Heisman Trophy winner... :rolleyes5cz:

You are thinking of Iowa's backup, they are generally good for several future Heisman threads throughout your typical season. :laugh8kb:

What do you mean!!!? I was directly told by several Hawkeye backers that Drew Tate was Jesus. You saying Jesus can't play football?

That's right....Jesus. Oh, and Kirk was therefore...God. Capital G. No joke. Stupid hawk fans.

Several ISU prof's are currently drafting a petition to ban this post...

Taters is now sitting outside the dome in St. Louis crying and going off on how it was his line and receivers fault. I will always remember that guy though for his tackle he tried to make that landed him a concussion. It was a lot like that show Friday Night Lights where the QB tried to tackle and ended up paralyzing himself except drew was lucky enough just to get his head pounded in.

He is ready to take on Eric Couch at Torronto in CFL.

As long as Tate doesn't take the same path of Crouch to get to Toronto: throw a hissy fit when asked to change posistions and demand to play QB or he's taking his play book and go home.

We do know someone on the Rams team - talk to him a couple times a month - will see if I can find out how many times Tate spiked his helmet in minicamps.
