Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine. I'm not sure how that word worked its way in to the American lexicon, but it has and it sucks. It is a good word that should be reserved for truly epic occasions. ISU pisspounding Kent State is not one of them.

Not to be on too much Kool-Aide, as I know its Kent State and they are without their best players. But we just stuck 27 on someone in a half ON THE ROAD! We haven't won a game on the road since I moved back to ames 3 years ago. I'll take 27. As long as we clean it up and keep the scoring going in the 2nd:yes:

I prefer "ace" or "boss".

As in, "That is totally ace". Or, "What a boss play that was."

haha, goin out to the bar in waukee at some point... got a 6 year HS reunion there (yeah, i know, wtf right? we didnt have a 5 yr)

I'm sorry, but that is BS! If we wanted to keep our foot on the gas pedal, then we would have used our 3 timeouts there at the end of the 1st half. That was idiotic. :no:

There's a difference (IMO) between keeping our foot on the pedal by trying to keep scoring before half and keeping our foot on the pedal by maintaining the intensity for the rest of the game.

I'm guessing CPR was referring to the latter.
