All the fresh-smoked BBQ and booze you can eat/drink on a private fenced-off lot just a few blocks from DKR stadium. They will also have satellite TVs showing other games all day. Possible more entertainment added depending on how well sales go. Also note on that website a link there where you can also buy game tickets thru the DFW alumni club to sit among other ISU folks and not be surrounded by Burnt Orange.

If you have been to these Austin-hosted tailgates in the past, note this (likely final) year they moved to a bigger lot a couple blocks east of the old one. The lot still doesn't actually include parking. But given how tough it is to tailgate around a big downtown metro campus, this is honestly your best (and really, only) bet for ISU fans. No need to drag a cooler or grill since they take care of you for a fairly reasonable price. @ChrisMWilliams has been there, he can vouch

There is also a Friday night pre-game party downtown on Sixth Street at that same Blind Pig Pub as last time in 2018 and 2020. Will be some bands up on their huge covered patio roof:

I think all the DBs who transferred from Iowa State are starting for their new teams except for one and he's the backup. Starters include Kym'mani King at Florida A&M, Virdel Edwards at Hawaii, Isheem Young at Ole Miss and Jordyn Morgan at UNLV. The only nonstarter is Craig McDonald at Auburn, who is second string, according to a just-released depth chart. That's a lot of DBs to lose for one team, but it doesn't even seem to be even a minor hiccup for us.

Looking for someone with a acreage or farm near Ames. Would like to park my motorhome there for the football season, (it's over 400 miles round trip for me) willing to pay a rental fee, just want keep fuel costs to a minimum.

I know Top Gun Maverick came out early on digital this month. I have never purchased a movie digitally, but am considering it for this movie. It looks like it is the same price across all platforms/apps. Does anyone have any experience with this? What app is the best (Vudu/Redbox/Other)?

I forgot, when do they typically become available through ISU?

I know that we usually have a depth chart on Mondays of game week. When should we expect to see one this week? I'm excited for this season so I'm impatient LOL.

Im not good with tech.

I’m having trouble with my laptop. Believe it has Windows 10. I am able to start it up, log in, and get to the desktop. Once I’m at the desktop, when I move my mouse over the start button the arrow just spins but I can’t open it. Icons on the toolbar don’t load.
If I ctr-alt-del the task manager will come up and I can work through that. There are 88 background apps running but I can’t get them to close.

Any ideas on how to get this thing going again? Thanks!

6. You have up until the start time of the game you picked to switch.
7. If your team loses, you are out for the competition.

13. You can only pick teams that are undefeated (they will be bolded).
14. You can't join in during the middle of the season.

16. There is no tiebreaker point due to a undefeated team winning on the road as that is a tiebreaker in the big 12 elimination game.

Does anyone know who might be the person / player (jersey anyway) pictured with Pete in this Pete Maravich clip, who is seemingly wearing an Iowa State BB uniform? It's very brief, only 3 seconds long or so, at the 14:30 mark.

I was just watching a little Pete, saw this, and now am very curious. It looks like maybe it was filmed when Pete was doing a clinic a some sort, in the later part of his life, maybe the late '80's?

Anybody know who might be the Iowa State guy here? Any any story behind it?
