Amazon

So has anyone experienced this. I purchased a big ticket item from Amazon during a recent Amazon event at like 30% off. About 2 weeks later i found the same it even cheaper elsewhere. So was going to contact Amazon about applying a price match. When i went to validate what i paid, i come to find out Amazon credited me back the entire amount of what I paid

Now i suspect there is some Algorithm that finds lower prices and is supposed to credit you the difference.
But in this case it credited the entire amount.

It was a $3000 item. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Going to contact Amazon this week to get it squared away Just strange

ESPN Article about 12 non conference games, or 11?

From the games mention, it also shows UCLA at Stanford. Now I know UCLA is Big 10 bound in a couple of years, but how do you put that game in an article for 12 non conference games. Very poor Editorial and Publishing.

*** 2022-2023 College Football Survivor Week 12 ***

We had some more chaos. 13 people left due to: 2 ran out of picks 3 took clemson 1 took Tennessee and 7 left because Clemson was all they had going forward. We are now down to 28.

3 folks still have the max of 3 teams left 11 have 2 and 14 will be out after this week. Cow and Vikes extend the tiebreaker lead to 11.

Rules/How to Play if you are new:

Big XII Bowl Qualifiers for 2022 (Poll)

What additional Big 12 teams will bowl qualify in 2022?

  • OU

    Votes: 76 89.4%
  • TTU

    Votes: 37 43.5%
  • ISU

    Votes: 56 65.9%
  • WVU

    Votes: 1 1.2%

I'm not sayin' ... I'm just sayin' ... But it is actually possible that the Big XII makes history this season by qualifying all10 teams for bowl season. With 3 games left, 6 are already qualified, and the remaining 4 still have a pulse. What needs to happen is for West Virginia to run the table, while OSU, who has been in a world of hurt, loses out. Let's break this down:
  • WVU plays 2 or their final 3 games at home against the KSU and OU. Not easy,, but I like their chances of winning elimination games in Morgantown. Then, they finish the year in Stillwater. Not an easy place to play, but if OSU continues its late season free fall, the Mountaineers could have a shot at a bowl berth.
  • Our ISU home boys regained some self respect vs the aforementioned Mountaineers, and can still sustain a loss. They will need to win at least one on the road, and this week at OSU is their best shot. They return home from Stillwater to face TTU at the Jack, where they should be favored, especially if that wind is out of the north. And, if they need #6 against TCU, isn't that a perfect setup for what CMC does best? Especially if TCU is on the precipice of a top 4 ranking in the CFP race?
  • TTU needs 2. If they drop one in Ames, they must win both remaining home games vs KU and OU. But those are no world beaters, and, aside from Morgantown, what other venue is a better setup for winning 2 elimination games than Lubbock?
  • OU needs only 1 win Bedlam, in which they have been dominant over the years, is at home this year. And, as noted previously, if OSU continues is downward spiral, OU is bowl qualified by winning on Senior day. Short of that, they cold still salvage a difficult road win at either WVU and TTU.

Game Thoughts: WVU

Offense

  • Hunter D. was just smooth all day long. 2 td's no picks 67% completion. His game gets instantly elevated with the threat of a run game.
  • Speaking of which, I thought Norton was tough and especially strong in the red zone. He needs to be our inside the 10 RB rest of the year, even if Brock gets healthier. He is stronger I feel than our other backs and has enough wiggle in him.
  • Deon Silas: tip of the cap to this guy, he busted a big one of 38. We need a running back to get a chunk gain once per game, it opens up the entire offense.
  • OL: they were mostly servicable today in pass protection, and hungry at times in the run. Hufford, Miller, Simmons and Downing all opened up holes. I feel like Jake Remsberg is still getting his sea legs after missing so much time.
  • Hutchinson: find me a better WR in america right now, guy deserves the Blitnikoff.
  • I also liked to see Darren Wilson get an important third down catch, Hannika had another TD as our go to TE, Easton Dean is finally starting to make plays. This offense just seemed to find some confidence finally (albeit against a crap team)
  • Negatives: not many. I will say Jaylin Noel is staring to make it routine to disappear in some games, he had a nice reverse but like 2 drops today and one where he wanted to avoid contact. I'm starting to get less and less bullish on him if I am being honest.

Defense
  • Will McDonald played his ass off today, .5 sack but many disruptive plays. MJ Anderson had a great sack, he can be the centerpiece of this defense next year, just a relentless player love his motor.
  • Anthony Johnson with another pick, he continues to move up draft boards as a flex safety as an nfl prospect
  • TJ Tampa - nobody can outrun this guy, nobody. What a player.
  • LBs I feel McClaughlin is always in the right spot (although he shared time with Reeder today). Reeder was solid today and made some key tackles
  • We lose Will and Isiah Lee but I feel this defense can be very, very good yet again next year. Dominique Orange is a behemoth of a man.

Special Teams
  • Dear Iowa State ST: when Jaylin Noel lets 6 plus punts over the course of the year fly over his head and choosing not to fair catch, causing us to start drives inside our 10 yard line, it is time to find someone else. This is an outrage. I do not get why he is above benching. He never gets a solid return at punt return (today he even almost botched a kick return bumping into someone), his play in my eyes should force PR to go to Myles Purchase, Stanley, or good God anyone else. I can't watch anymore and it is confusing they continue to let this happen. This some games will cost us 25 yards plus.
