RECRUITING: Iowa State adds Ames WR Jeffrey Roberts as fourth commit for ’26 class

Jeffrey Roberts is staying close to home for his college, announcing his commitment to Iowa State on Tuesday.

The 2026 wide receiver made things official on social media, becoming the Cyclones’ fourth commitment to the class already.

Roberts chose Iowa State over his other offer in Kansas State, and had been hearing from other area programs such as Iowa, Minnesota and UNI.

The 6-foot-0, 180-pound prospect wowed during his sophomore season at Ames High School.

Roberts collected 989 yards receiving with 12 touchdowns on just 38 catches – good for 26.2 yards per reception.

The class, which includes offensive linemen Mason Bandhauer & Ethan Beckman and athlete Kaprice Keith, is now rated as the No. 36 class in the country.
